The two countries signed 20 cooperation documents in areas such as development strategy alignment, science and technology, agriculture, digital economy, finance, inspection and quarantine, and media, and issued two important joint statements.

Lula emphasized that deepening cooperation with China will not affect Brazil’s development of relations with other countries. He revealed that Brazil is actively promoting a trade agreement between the Southern Common Market and the European Union to promote regional economic cooperation.
