From August 10th to 12th, Easybest Group welcomed a visit to China by Mr. Serigne Gueye DIOP, the Minister of Industry and Trade of Senegal, and his delegation. The two sides conducted in-depth investigations and cooperation negotiations in key areas such as industrial products, agricultural machinery, medical health, heavy-duty trucks, and new energy vehicles, injecting new momentum into China-Senegal economic and trade cooperation.
During the inspection, Mr. Lou Ruibiao, Chairman of the Easybest Group, accompanied the delegation throughout. Through on-site visits to the enterprise’s production base and the convening of special cooperation seminars, he systematically introduced the group’s resource advantages, industrial layout, and international cooperation achievements in the aforementioned fields. Minister, Mr. Diop expressed recognition for the comprehensive strength of the Easybest Group. He said, “Senegal is currently in a critical period of industrialization upgrading, and we look forward to achieving precise docking with Chinese enterprises in terms of business exchanges, technology transfer, and production capacity cooperation, so as to jointly promote the quality improvement and efficiency enhancement of local industries.”
During the inspection, Chairman, Mr. Lou Ruibiao accompanied Minister, Mr. Diop and his delegation to pay a special visit to Mr. Syla IBRAHIMA, the Senegalese ambassador to China. They exchanged views on the current status of China-Senegal economic and trade cooperation, future cooperation directions, and specific project implementation paths. They unanimously agreed that they should fully leverage their respective advantages, build a more efficient cooperation platform, and promote the implementation of more pragmatic cooperation projects in Senegal, benefiting enterprises and people of both countries.
Ms. Ndeye Yacine GNINGUE, Director of the Office of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Senegal, Mr. Madou FALL, National Economic Advisor, Mr. Abdourahmane DIOUF, Counsellor to China, and Mr. Djaffar DALI and Mr. Nabil SAGGAI, International Advisors of the Easybest Group, participated in the inspection throughout.
The in-depth interaction between Easybest Group and the Senegalese government this time not only laid a solid foundation for subsequent cooperation between the two parties, but also demonstrated the vast prospects for Chinese and African enterprises in the fields of industrial chain complementarity and resource sharing, adding momentum to the promotion of pragmatic cooperation under the framework of the “China-Africa Cooperation Forum”.
